Banjo Bowl Sells Out, as the Bombers Host the Riders

Despite increasing worry of spreading COVID-19 at sporting events, the legendary Banjo Bowl will go on as planned in Winnipeg. And even better than that, it’s sold out.

But according to the report by the CBC, initial numbers reflect a lot less Saskatchewan fans than usual.

This will be the 2nd sell out game in a row between the 2, as the Bombers won in comeback fashion against the Roughriders in last week’s Labour Day matchup, scoring 16 unanswered points to win 23-8 at Mosaic.

This time, the Riders hope for revenge. The teams enter the game with just 1 loss apiece, Saskatchewan’s coming at the hands of the Blue Bombers.
