Toronto’s game was dominated by quarterback Chad Kelly. He completed a sterling 21 out of 25 passes, racking up 351 yards and launching three touchdowns into the mix. Despite throwing one interception, his overall performance steered the Toronto team on their path to victory.

On the ground, running back A J Ouellette had a standout performance with 95 yards carried over 14 attempts. While he didn’t score a touchdown, his contributions were instrumental in driving the Toronto offense. Not to be left behind, fellow RB Andrew Harris had a small yet meaningful contribution with 21 yards over 3 carries.

The receivers also had their share of the limelight. David Ungerer III and Damonte Coxie matched each other stride for stride, both securing 72 yards each. Ungerer III stood out with his 2 touchdown haul.

On the defensive front, Toronto’s Wynton McManis led the team with an impressive 9 tackles and a pivotal interception.

Montreal’s Performance

In the rushing department, William Stanback led the charge with 53 yards over 12 carries. Unfortunately, he couldn’t quite find the opportunity to score.

The receivers made some headway, with Austin Mack receiving for 70 yards. Tyler Snead, though, became the star of the show with his 3 touchdowns gathered over 48 yards, exhibiting his capabilities in the red-zone.

Montreal’s defense showed resilience. Najee Murray led the team with 7 tackles, demonstrating his key role in the defensive lineup.

Despite a high-octane game, Toronto managed to pull off a victory, largely due to their balanced offense and a resilient defense. Montreal’s spirited performance notwithstanding, the night belonged to Toronto. This victory clearly indicates that Toronto remains a formidable contender in the CFL.
