Winnipeg Blue Bombers Performance:
The Blue Bombers’ offense was firing on all cylinders, with Collaros spreading the ball around to multiple receivers. Kenny Lawler led the way with 8 catches for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Nic Demski added 4 receptions for 117 yards and 2 scores of his own.
While the Elks’ offense put up 27 points, they couldn’t keep pace with Winnipeg’s explosive attack. Quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for 223 yards and 3 touchdowns in the losing effort.
The win solidifies Winnipeg’s position atop the West Division standings with a 9-6 record. In the East, the Montreal Alouettes continue to lead the pack at 11-2, followed by the Ottawa Redblacks at 8-5. The Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats round out the East at 7-7 and 5-9 respectively.
This offensive showcase demonstrated why the Blue Bombers remain a force to be reckoned with in the CFL.
