The Canadian Football League (CFL) kicks off its Honour Roll for the 2023 season with some standout performances. In Week 1, Ciante Evans, Jermarcus Hardrick, and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ offensive line have earned their places on the CFL Honour Roll. This recognition is powered by Pro Football Focus (PFF), a platform renowned for its in-depth game analysis.

PFF’s Methodology: PFF takes a meticulous approach to analyzing game footage, dissecting every play to provide context to each action on the field. The PFF team assigns over 200 unique data points to each player and play, which are then used to calculate Player Grades on a scale of 0 to 100. Offensive Lineman of the Week:

  • Jermarcus Hardrick, Winnipeg Blue Bombers (WPG 42 – HAM 31)
    • PFF Player Grade: 84.5
    • Contributed to 29 rushes for 145 yards, including 22 carries for 113 yards by Brady Oliveira.
    • Supported QB Zach Collaros in his 30 pass attempts, accumulating 354 yards and three touchdowns.
