CFLPA Announces Saskatchewan Polytechnic As The Official Sponsor Of The 2022 CFLPA Players HQ During Grey Cup Week

CFLPA Players HQ, powered by Saskatchewan Polytechnic will run from Thursday, November 17th to Saturday, November 19th at The Fat Badger pub in Regina, SK. 

Mississauga, ON- The Canadian Football League Players’ Association (CFLPA) and Saskatchewan Polytechnic announced today a partnership agreement that makes Saskatchewan Polytechnic the official sponsor of the 2022 CFLPA Players’ HQ during 109th Grey Cup week in Regina, SK. 

The 2022 CFLPA Players’ HQ, powered by Saskatchewan Polytechnic, will be a great opportunity for Canadian football fans to meet and interact with both current and former CFLPA members. The annual CFLPA Grey Cup week party is free to attend and invites fans to enjoy live music outside the venue, as well as a chance to watch Jamie Nye broadcast “The Green Zone” live on location to 980 CJME Regina and 650 CKOM Saskatoon. 

“We are excited to deliver the 2022 CFLPA Players Headquarters in partnership with Saskatchewan Polytechnic,” said CFLPA Executive Director Brian Ramsay. “The CFLPA has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Saskatchewan Polytechnic through the CFLPA Academy, and we are grateful for their ongoing commitment to our membership. We look forward to working collaboratively to produce a memorable event for all CFL fans to enjoy during the Grey Cup Festivities.” 

The 2022 CFLPA Players’ HQ, powered by Saskatchewan Polytechnic, will be free of charge and open to everyone on a first come, first serve basis.  

The event will be held at The Fat Badger pub, 1852 Scarth Street, on: 

  • Thursday, November 17th, 3:00-7:00 PM 
  • Friday, November 18th, 3:00-7:00 PM 
  • Saturday, November 19th, 1:00-5:00 PM 

More details about each day will be released in the days and weeks leading up the 109th Grey Cup Festival!

Through the relationship that the CFLPA Academy has long-established with Saskatchewan Polytechnic, CFL players and their spouses can advance their educations through Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s School of Continuing Education, which offers diplomas, certificates, degrees, and micro-credential offerings. CFLPA members also have access to proactive career counseling and preparedness to prepare them for their careers after football.
