Noyes is a native of Gravesend, England. He played for Colorado State the last two seasons. In those seasons, he converted on 29 of 39 field-goal attempts.Â
A native of Gravesend, England, Noyes recently concluded his collegiate career at Colorado State.
This move won’t move the needle much. He’s mostly meant to provide depth behind the ageless wonder, Rene Paredes. In a league where every point matters, you can never have too much depth.
Hyman contributed 220 yards and one touchdown in five games last season. He also looked good in his two preseason games this season. He had a total of 6 catches and 69 yards in those games.
Overall, it feels like good news for the receiver room. If the Stampeders are comfortable cutting a guy like Hyman, they must be confident with what they have.Â
QB Room
At most levels of football, teams only go as far as their QB room takes them. Things are no different in the CFL.
That’s why the signing of Vernon Adams Jr. was the biggest splash of the offseason. It also might be the biggest reason for optimism. Having a 10-year CFL vet under center is a good spot to be in.Â
P.J. Walker seems to be headed into the season as Adams’ primary backup. Walker’s talent and NFL experience give him the potential to do great things. However, he’s still getting used to the Canadian game.Â
“Soaking up all the information I can from Vernon Adams Jr., just learning from a guy like that is exceptional. To be able to relate to him and hear what he’s saying and implement those things throughout my game and through the whole QB room as well.” P.J. Walker

Their preseason is over, so now we can look forward to the real games starting next week.Â
