PR: CFL Board Of Governors Ratifies New CBA

New agreement now in effect

TORONTO (May 31, 2022) – The Canadian Football League’s Board of Governors has ratified a new collective bargaining agreement with the Canadian Football League Players’ Association.

The agreement, which was ratified last week by members of the Canadian Football League Players’ Association, is now in effect.

    The agreement was a no-brainier for the owners. However, they should have allowed enough room in the salary cap for a third quarterback for each team. The two quarterback rule could come back to bite them, and lead to some embarrassing situations.
