The reigning Grey Cup Champions will take on the Edmonton Elks as Montreal comes to town riding a 9-game win streak dating back to last season. Edmonton showed a lot of signs in week 1 pointing towards improvement but ultimately were unable to win in their season opener.

Writer’s Pick: 100% Montreal

B.C.’s home opener will be a rematch of last year’s Western Semi-Final as the Lions host the Calgary Stampeders. The Lions will look to bounce back after a rough day of pass protection. Vernon Adams Jr. is coming off of a 363 passing yard performance with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception while Calgary’s Jake Maier also played very well last week passing for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Writer’s Pick: 77% B.C.

The match will see 2 quarterbacks who are both likely future Canadian Football Hall of Famers Bo Levi Mitchell for Hamilton and Trevor Harris for Saskatchewan.
