Blue Bombers sign defensive back Tyqwan Glass to a one-year contract

WINNIPEG, MB.– Day two for The Winnipeg Blue Bombers was quiet for them as they did not add any new players to the roster. On day three the Bombers made some noise as the club announced that they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with American defensive back Tyqwan Glass.

Glass is a three-year veteran out of Fresno State University. AT FSU Glass appeared in 23 games where he recorded 119 total tackles, 21 pass deflections, six interceptions, and one fumble recovery. Glass was also was part of the special team unit returning 19 punts for 172 total yards. 

Glass played with the Montreal Alouettes in 2018 and 2021. The 2019 season he spent with Edmonton Elks. Through 30 games, Glass has recorded 95 defensive tackles, six special teams tackles, one sack, and three interceptions.

Glass will be looking to help the Bomber secondary unit joining the long list of defensive backs on the Bombers roster.
