The Leipzig Kings have signed Swedish wide receiver Anton Jallai for the 2022 season.
Jallai played for a Sweedish football club called AIK for the 2020 season and signed with the Stockholm Mean Machines in 2021. However, Jallai could only play one game in 2021 due to an injury. He’ll be looking to have a comeback season against the highest level of competition in Europe when he takes the field with the Kings in 2022.
The Frankfurt Galaxy have signed former Bundesliga soccer player Thomas Zampach as their kicker for the 2022 season.
Zampach played for the SFV Mainz 05 soccer club from 1991 to 1997 and spent 1997 to 2000 with the Eintracht Frankfurt soccer club. After retiring, he’d coach multiple soccer teams and play kicker for the Frankfurt Universe of the German Football League. At 52 years old, Zampach wants to prove he’s still got it and is excited to retake the field.
Barcelona Dragons Announce 3-Day Training Camp
The Barcelona Dragons have announced a 3-day training camp/tryout at the end of April, where over 70 athletes will compete for a roster spot. Dragons players in attendance will include quarterback Zach Edwards, wide receiver Kyle Sweet, defensive back Niko Lester, former Italian NFL kicker Giorgio Tavecchio, among others. Additionally, players not yet signed by the team will be in attendance in hopes of earning a spot for the season, such as British tight end Henry Rowland.
