Slow Start Turns to Rout for Sea Devils

What started off as a slow defensive battle took a hard turn for the Berlin Thunder as the Hamburg Sea Devils stay undefeated, 44-6.

Neither team get a lot going early in this one, soecual teams got a lot of snaps early for both Betlin and Hamburg. Quite a few bad snaps for Hamburg as well, but QB Jadrian Clark kept his composure theought the entire game. And although points didn’t come early, the Sea Devils had some good drives.

Hamburg got their first 6 points on 2 field goals, but Berlin found the 3nd zone for their 6, as we went into the half tied 6-6.

The 2nd half wasn’t nearly as fun for Berlin. Hamburg scored 38 unanswered points, mainly on the arm of Clark, but also on some ingenuity while in the moment.

You’ll see when you watch the game, or the highlights, if you hadn’t already, an impromptu flea-flicker led to a Sea Devil TD. As well as an option pitch to RB Xavier Johnson.

Two other guys who played major roles in getting those point were WR Benjamin Mau, and TE Adria Botello Moreno.

WR Benjamin Mau

The Sea Devil offense was clicking on all cylinders late in this one, and they improve to 3-0, despite making a coaching change this past week.

The Berlin Thunder fall to 1-2.
