Looking at the 10 players revealed by the Montreal Alouettes on their fall negotiation list. All CFL teams revealed 10 players from their negotiation lists on Saturday. This is done in September and December.

Shawn Davis DB Florida

Shawn Davis was drafted in the 5th round out of Florida in 2021 to the Indianapolis Colts. He was released and signed by the Green Bay Packers where he appeared in 1 game in 2021. He was released in September of 2022.
Davis played 37 games for Florida Gators with 16 starts recording 124 tackles (76 solo) and 5 interceptions.
Kendrick Duncan LB Louisville

Kendrick Duncan played his final 2 seasons at Louisville in 2021 and 2022 during which he started 16 games and played in 21. He had 120 total tackles for Louisville (84 solo), 1 tackle for a loss, 1 interception, and 5 passes defended.
Prior to Louisville, he played 32 games over 3 seasons for Georgia Southern where he had 146 tackles (100 solo) 21 passes defended, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and 6 interceptions.
Grant Hermanns OL Purdue

Grant Hermanns was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2021 where he spent the season on the practice roster. He played in 2 games for the Jets in 2022 and was released in October of 2022 before being briefly on the Miami Dolphins practice roster and then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In 2023 he was briefly a member of the New York Jets again after being claimed on waivers on August 8 before he was waived on August 29.
Cade McNamara QB Iowa

Cade McNamara made a name for himself as the starter of the Michigan Wolverines in 2021 starting 14 games during which he completed 210 of his 327 passes (64.2%) for 2,576 yards and 15 touchdowns with 6 interceptions. He was the backup last season for Michigan and transferred to Iowa this past offseason.
He has started 2 games this season for Iowa during which he completed 29 of his 52 passes (55.8%) for 314 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception.
TD Moultry DL Auburn

TD Moultry was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent but was waived in August following his placement to the injured reserve.
Moultry played 58 games for Auburn with 7 starts. In his senior year, he played 10 games with 7 starts contributing 33 tackles (17 solo) and 4 sacks.
Daviyon Nixon DL Iowa

Daviyon Nixon was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2020. He was drafted to the Carolina Panthers in 2021 in the 5th round. He appeared in 14 games over 2021 and 2022 for the Carolina Panthers registering 15 tackles (4 solo). He was waived in December and signed by the Seattle Seahawks but waived again 6 days later.
Nixon played 3 seasons for Iowa appearing in 21 games with 9 starts. He had 74 tackles (41 solo), 8.5 sacks, and an interception.
E.J. Perry QB Brown

E.J. Perry was a member of Boston College in 2017 and 2018 before transferring to be the starting quarterback for the Brown Bears at the FCS level. Over 20 starts for Brown Perry completed 546 of his 862 passes (63,3%) for 5,981 yards with 45 touchdowns and 27 interceptions.
Perry joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022 as an undrafted free agent where he was a member of their practice roster. He was claimed in March of 2023 by the Houston Texans off waivers but waived again in May.
E.J. Perry had a brief sting in the USFL late this last season with the Michigan Panthers where he had 1 start completing 12 of his 23 passes (52.2%) for 121 yards. He was signed again by the Houston Texans in early August but released on August 29.
Lindsey Scott Jr. QB Incarnate Word

Lindsey Scott Jr. was a redshirt freshman with LSU in 2016 before transferring to Incarnate Word.
He is currently an undrafted free agent. Scott Jr. won the NCJAA national championship in 2017. He was the Walter Payton Award winner in 2022 being recognized as the most outstanding offensive player at the FCS level. He had 4,686 yards passing and 60 touchdowns with 8 interceptions in 2022 over 14 games during which he completed 71% of his passes.
Scott Jr. had the 4th highest PFF passing grade among FCS quarterbacks in 2022 with a passing grade of 92 and an overall offensive grade of 91.5.
In 2020 and 2021 Scott Jr. played for Nicholls State where he had 16 stats completing 60.4% of his passes fro 3,767 yards and 34 touchdowns with 18 interceptions.
In addition to being on Montreal’s negotiation list, Scott Jr. was drafted by the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL in the second round this year. He was also drafted by the Houston Roughnecks in the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft. He is not currently signed to a team.
Nigel Warrior DB Tennessee

Nigel Warrior was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 as an undrafted free agent where he was on the practice roster for 2020. He was waived on August 31 2021 and claimed by the Seattle Seahawks. He appeared in 4 games for Seattle in 2021 registering 1 solo tackle. Warrior became an unrestricted free agent in April of 2022.
Warrior played in 49 games for the Tennessee Volunteers with 38 starts. He contributed 239 tackles (141 solo), 5 interceptions, and a sack.
In 2019 he was named All-SEC First Team by the Associated Press, and named Second Team by the coaches and PFF.
Christian Young LB Arizona

Christian Young played in 49 games with 32 starts for Arizona registering 182 tackles (102 solo) and 0.5 sacks. He was signed by the Seattle Seahawks following the 2023 NFL draft as an undrafted free agent and was waived on August 29.
