PR: Elks Betts, Ticats Ternowski And Official Tom Vallesi Fined

LEAGUE DISCIPLINE – WEEK 15

Thursday, November 18, 2021 — TORONTO (November 18, 2021) –The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today:

  • Hamilton Tiger-Cats receiver Tyler Ternowski was fined for a high hit on Toronto Argonauts returner Chandler Worthy.
  • On-field official Tom Vallesi was fined for the use of inappropriate and explicit language.

The CFL also announced an additional fine from Week 13:

  • Edmonton Elks defensive lineman Mathieu Betts was fined for a high hit on Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebacker Nic Cross.

As per league policy, the amounts of the fines were not disclosed.

    Hey Mark, on November 19, 2021 you commented on Betts’ high hit on Nic Cross. Just a heads up for future commentary there is not a ‘k’ at the end of Nic. No worries, just looks more professional to get it right. Thanks
