The Canadian Football League (CFL) has made a landmark move by partnering with FanDuel, introducing it as the first authorized gaming operator and an Official Sportsbook Partner of the league. This groundbreaking collaboration permits fans aged 19 and over in Ontario to wager on the CFL via FanDuel’s premium betting platform.

In its inaugural season with the CFL, FanDuel will be providing an extensive range of betting options. Alongside typical futures bets, fans will be presented with various in-game player propositions such as anytime touchdown scorer, and passing, rushing, and receiving yardage. One of the eagerly anticipated futures bets will be predicting which team will be victorious at the 110th Grey Cup championship in Hamilton on November 19.

Integral to this partnership is a robust commitment to maintain the integrity of CFL games and ensure a secure betting environment. The CFL recently adopted a Match Manipulation Policy to protect against match-fixing threats. This policy includes an e-learning course, developed in conjunction with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), to educate CFL players and personnel on how they can be targeted by match fixers.
