Montreal Transactions and Initial Injury Report for Week 11

The Montreal Alouettes released their 1st injury report for this week’s matchup vs the Ottawa REDBLACKS, their 3rd of 4 this season.

Signed

The following players were signed today, and placed on COVID suspension until their status is cleared:

Quinten Dormady (A), QB, Central Michigan
Jermaine Gabriel (N), DB, Bishop’s
Zach Greenberg (N), LS, Minnesota Crookston

Injury Report

These players made the injury report. It’s lengthy, and QB Vernon Adams will not play this week. But some positive news as RB William Stanback was a full participant, given that he missed last game to do a rib injury:

Dante Absher (WR), healthy scratch, full participation
Vernon Adams Jr. (QB), left arm, did not participate
Pierre-Luc Caron (LS), chest, did not participate
Philippe Gagnon (OL), lower leg, full participation
Tyqwan Glass (DB), knee, full participation
Sean Jamieson (OL), knee, did not participate
Cameron Lawson (DL), healthy scratch, full participation
Taku Lee (RB), knee, did not participate
Rodney Randle (DB), hand, full participation
Chris Schleuger (OL), knee, did not participate
Antonio Simmons (DL), shoulder, did not participate
William Stanback (RB), ribs, full participation
Wesley Sutton (DB), foot, limited participation
Tony Washington (OL), leg, full participation

Montreal goes into this game 2nd in the East at 4-4, and need this win if they are to gain any ground on Toronto.

Some of these names will likely drop off as the week goes on, but the fact that there were so many reported injuries could be a concern for the Alouettes.

Although many were full participants, and inclusion is a mere formality.
