Before joining the Argonauts, Amoah was part of the Chicago Bears. He signed with the Bears in May 2023. He was picked by the Vegas Vipers in the XFL’s rookie draft but the Vipers folded in the merger to the UFL.

Standing at six feet three inches and weighing 285 pounds, Amoah has been a solid presence on the field. He played for the University of California, Davis from 2017 to 2022. During his time in college, he participated in 45 games and was a starting player in his last three seasons.

In 2022, Amoah received major recognition for his performance. He was named to the First Team All-Big Sky and earned Second Team All-American honors. His academic background is in aerospace science and engineering.
