CFL Week 11 Fantasy Football Picks and Sleepers: Draft Kings, Game Zone

Downtown Dru Brown is our steal of the week if Zach Collaros is unable to go against Calgary. Great deals on players flying under the radar who are of higher value than what their pricing or availability would indicate.

Quarterbacks:

Vernon Adams Jr. (BC) QB @ SSK

Draft Kings Price: $11.4K

Game Zone Price: $15K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 75%

I consider the top four quarterbacks in the CFL to be Zach Collaros, Vernon Adams Jr., Cody Fajardo, and Chad Kelly among the quarterbacks not on long term IR. Vernon Adams Jr. is the only quarterback without a questionable injury designation or on the bye this week among that group. He is 2nd in yards per game.

Dustin Crum (OTT) QB vs MTL

Draft Kings Price: $10.7K

Game Zone Price: $9.3K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 58%

Crum is really developing well as a passer. Last week he completed 21 of his 26 passes for 292 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions against a pretty tough Toronto defense. He also has more rushing yards than any other quarterback at 409.

Dru Brown (WPG) QB @ CGY

Draft Kings Price: $9.6K

Game Zone Price: $7.1K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: >6%

If Zach Collaros is unable to play this week after leaving again last week then Downtown Dru Brown is an excellent choice. He threw for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns last week playing roughly 3 quarters of football.

Runningbacks:

James Butler (HAM) QB vs EDM

Draft Kings Price: $9.8K

Game Zone Price: $11K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 90%

Edmonton has struggled to stop the run this season. Butler had an impressive 9.1 yards per carry on 14 rushes for 127 yards and a touchdown last time he played Edmonton.

Brady Oliveira (WPG) RB @ CGY

Draft Kings Price: $9.9K

Game Zone Price: $15K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 85%

Always a safe bet with how good his average has been and how many touches Winnipeg gives him on a consistent basis.

Ka’Deem Carey (CGY) RB vs WPG

Draft Kings Price: $7.6K

Game Zone Price: $10.7K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 77%

Carey had his first game since sustaining an injury in week 1 last week. He averaged 6.3 yards per carry on 7 rushes in that game as Calgary worked him back into the lineup.

Wide Receivers:

This week with all the uncertainty relating to injuries and various matchups I am leaning heavily towards BC, Ottawa, and Winnipeg receivers.

BC Lions Receivers

Keon Hatcher, Alexander Hollins, and Lucky Whitehead have all been very good options this season. If Dominique Rhymes misses this week again Justin McInnis is another good receiver who has had good fantasy production when being elevated to a starting role.

I am going to avoid Dominique Rhymes this week due to the fact that he was a non-participant in practice all last week due to a knee injury. Unless he is a full participant at every practice this week I will be skeptical as to how effective he is with that knee injury.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers Receivers

Dalton Schoen, Nic Demski, and Kenny Lawler are obvious choices. Demski was used on quite a few run packages last week in addition to the passing game. I do expect Schoen and Lawler to receive most of the targets.

Rasheed Baily and Drew Wolitarsky are good selections as well for lower-priced players.  They are both capable of big plays as defenses worry about what dangerous receiver to cover. Wolitarsky did sustain an injury last week during the game but has been a full participant in practice so far this week.

Justin Hardy (OTT) WR vs MTL

Draft Kings Price: $8.3K

Game Zone Price: $10K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 60%

Was the most-targeted RedBlacks receiver last week catching 9 of his 7 targets for 62 yards and a touchdown. Montreal does have some defensive backs who are playing very well as of late.

Jaelon Acklin (OTT) WR vs MTL

Draft Kings Price: $7.1K

Game Zone Price: $8.5K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 56%

The 2022 East Division All-Star has had a slow start this season but has been getting going lately. Last week he caught 6 of his 7 targets for 157 yards and a touchdown.
