Riders Reunite Twin Linebackers Justin and Jordan Herdman-Reed, Add One More

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have extended Canadian linebacker Justin Herdman-Reed and have brought back his twin brother Jordan Herdman-Reed. They also added versatile fullback Clint Ratkovich.

Justin will be entering his fourth year in the Green and White, collecting 40 tackles over 38 games in his Roughriders tenure so far. While primarily playing on special teams, he excels, collecting 25 tackles on that side of the ball during his time in Riderville.

Jordan returns to the 306 after spending last season with the Calgary Stampeders. Like his brother, he primarily plays on special teams tallying ten special teams tackles last season through 16 games. He initially signed with Riderville with his twin in 2021, snagging seven tackles in 17 games during his two-year first stint with the club.

The Roughriders also announced the signing of fullback Clint Ratkovich.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound swiss army knife went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Northern Illinois alum spent the 2023 offseason and preseason with the Atlanta Falcons appearing in three preseason games for the NFL franchise, earning a 83.1 overall grade from pro football focus, one of the top grades at his position.

These moves concluded the opening day of free agency for the Roughriders after officially announcing the signings of Jermarcus Hardrick, Jameer Thurman, A.J. Ouellette, Malik Carney, and Jalon Edwards-Cooper.
