Overview

The undefeated Saskatchewan Roughriders travel to Toronto to face the winless Argonauts in a critical Week 3 matchup. Saskatchewan enters with a perfect 2-0 record after victories over Ottawa (31-26) and Hamilton (28-23), averaging 29.5 points per game. The Roughriders are riding a six-game regular season winning streak under quarterback Trevor Harris and looking to start 3-0 for the second consecutive season under head coach Corey Mace.

Toronto sits at 0-2 following losses to Montreal and Calgary, managing just 14.5 points per game while allowing 28.5. The Argonauts haven’t started 0-3 since 2019 and face their biggest test yet against a Saskatchewan team that has dominated recent meetings at BMO Field.

Improve pass defense – The Roughriders are allowing 374.5 passing yards per game, the most in the CFL, against an Argonauts offense that will look to exploit this weakness.
Limit turnovers – Toronto has committed five turnovers while forcing just one, while Saskatchewan needs to protect the football to maintain their perfect start.

Let’s at least get the score right on the first two games, eh?
    Ott-Ssk was 31-26 and Ssk-Ham was 28-23.
