The Toronto Argonauts have officially signed American defensive lineman Jordan Williams, adding depth to their defensive front. The 24-year-old made an impact playing for the Memphis Showboats in the USFL in 2023, where he collected 21 tackles and 5.5 sacks over nine games. Williams joins the Argos after a stint with the Miami Dolphins and collegiate years split between Virginia Tech and Clemson.

Career Highlights and Prospects

During his time at Virginia Tech, Williams amassed 33 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 11 games, catching the eye of professional scouts. His earlier college career at Clemson was equally impressive, notching up 55 tackles, four sacks, and a forced fumble. His arrival is poised to fortify an already formidable Argos defense as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
