12 targets, 6 catches, 115 yards 46 YAC

1. Dominique Rhymes, BC Lions, Previous Ranking #WR1

3 GP, 15 Receptions, 237 Yards, and 5 touchdowns.

Dominique Rhymes only caught 3 of his 10 targets but 2 of them were touchdowns in week. He finished the day with 65 receiving yards in BC’s loss to Toronto in week 4.. BC will play against Montreal in week 5. After missing week 3 due to a foot injury, Rhymes looked good despite the low percentage of his targets being completed.

2. Dalton Schoen, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Previous Ranking #WR2

4 GP, 20 Receptions, 332 Yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Schoen was once again the most targeted receiver for Winnipeg. He caught 5 of his 8 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown.

3. Tim White, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Previous Ranking #WR3

3 GP, 16 Receptions, 258 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

Was on the bye week in week 4. Hamilton will host Ottawa in week 5.

4. Austin Mack, Montreal Alouettes, Previous Ranking WR#5

Mack caught 6 of his 11 targets for 115 yards in Montreal’s loss to Winnipeg. Montreal will play BC this Sunday. Mack continues to be one of the most targeted receivers in the CFL so far this season. He also leads the league in yards per game at 105.3.

5. Tevin Jones, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Previous Ranking WR#4

2 GP, 14 Receptions, 196 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

The roughriders were on a bye in week 4. In week 5 they will play Edmonton.

6. Reggie Begelton, Calgary Stampeders, Previous Ranking #WR6

2 GP, 14 Receptions, 182 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Reggie Begelton was placed on the 6-game injured list prior to Calgary’s loss against Saskatchewan in week 2. He was activated this past Sunday. With the season-ending injury to Malik Henry, Begelton’s return to Calgary is much needed.

7. Keon Hatcher, BC Lions, Previous Ranking #WR22

1 GP, 8 Receptions, 104 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

Hatcher’s first game of the season was a great performance as he led BC in catches and yards. He missed the first 3 games with a foot injury. In week 4 Hatcher caught 8 of his 10 targets for 104 yards and a touchdown.

8. Alexander Hollins, BC Lions, Previous Ranking #WR6

Hollins caught 3 of his 7 targets for 68 yards in BC’s loss to Toronto. Hollins was third in targets and yards in BC’s loss. His production could go down somewhat when Lucky Whitehead returns if all the other starters are healthy.

9. Kaion Julien-Grant, Montreal Alouettes, Previous Ranking #WR15

Kaion Julien-Grant had another massive performance catching all 6 of his targets for a team-leading 129 receiving yards. He had the biggest play of the game which was a 69-yard reception.

10. Nic Demski, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Previous Ranking #WR9

Did not play in Winnipeg’s win over Montreal in week 4. Winnipeg plays Calgary in week 5.

11. Duke Williams, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Previous Ranking #WR10

3 GP, 14 Receptions, 260 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Was on the bye week in week 4. Hamilton will host Ottawa in week 5.

12. Shawn Bane, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Previous Ranking #WR11

3 GP, 15 Receptions, 245 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

On a bye in week 4. Saskatchewan will host Edmonton in week 5.

13. Samuel Emilus, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Previous Ranking #WR12

3 GP, 13 Receptions, 186 Yards, and 3 touchdowns.

On a bye in week 4. Saskatchewan will host Edmonton in week 5.

14. Tre Odoms-Dukes, Calgary Stampeders, Previous Ranking #WR7

3 GP, 14 Receptions, 192 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

On a bye in week 4. Calgary will travel to Winnipeg in week 5. With Reggie Begelton being reactivated from Calgary’s six-game injured list, Odoms-Dukes’ expected spike in production due to injuries will likely not be as significant of a factor as previously thought.

15. Steven Dunbar Jr., Edmonton Elks, Previous Ranking #WR13

4 GP, 17 Receptions, 196 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Dunbar Jr. caught 3 of his 6 targets for 19 yards.

Missed week 4 due to a hamstring injury. BC hosts Montreal in week 5.

17. Damonte Coxie, Toronto Argonauts, Previous Ranking #WR16

3 GP, 9 Receptions, 180 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Coxie caught 2 of his 5 targets for 16 yards. Chad Kelly targetted all 5 of the starting receivers for Toronto between 4-6 times making it difficult to predict who the favorite targets are in Toronto. This is likely an indicator that he can go through his progressions quickly to find the open receiver.

18. Drew Wolitarsky, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Previous Ranking #WR17

Wolitarsky caught 3 of his 5 targets for 29 yards and a touchdown. He has been a shark in the end zone so far this year.

19. Justin McInnis, BC Lions, Previous Ranking #21

4 GP, 14 Receptions, 231 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

McInnis was 2nd in yards and receptions for BC as he caught 4 of his 6 targets in week 4 for 81 yards. He will likely be the 5th most popular target in BC when all the receivers are healthy but it’s a really good top 5 they have.

20. Maurice Ffrench, Edmonton Elks, Previous Ranking Unranked

1 GP, 6 Receptions, 74 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

I was excited to see him on the depth chart for his first CFL game after the dominant performances he had in the preseason. No receiver had more catches or receiving yards in the preseason. In his CFL debut, he had the most receiving yards in the game. Ffrench caught 6 of his 8 targets for 74 yards and a touchdown.

21. Cole Tucker, Calgary Stampeders, Previous Ranking #18

1 GP, 5 Receptions, 74 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

On a bye in week 4. Calgary will travel to Winnipeg in week 5. Tucker’s importance will be very for Calgary moving forward due to the injuries to Reggie Begelton and Malik Henry.

22. Devaris Daniels, Toronto Argonauts, Previous Ranking #WR23

3 GP, 7 Receptions, 99 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

Daniels caught 4 of his 5 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown. He was tied for 2nd in catches and targets and was the only Toronto receiver to score a touchdown in week 4.

2 GP, 7  Receptions, 63 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Gittens Jr. had 4 catches on 5 targets for 25 yards in week 4 after missing week 3 due to a hamstring injury. He was tied for 2nd on the team in both catches and targets.

25. Justin Hardy, Ottawa Redblacks, Previous Ranking #WR24

3 GP, 13 Receptions, 102 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Hardy caught 3 of his 4 targets for 18 yards.

Missed the game against Montreal as he was placed on the 1 game injured list.

3 GP, 9 Receptions, 58 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Behar caught his only target for -1 yard.

32. Luther Hakunavhunhu, Calgary Stampeders, Previous Ranking #WR31

3 GP, 5 Receptions, 74 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

On a bye in week 4. Calgary will travel to Winnipeg in week 5. Has an opportunity for a bigger role coming up due to the injury to Malik Henry.

33. Dejon Brissett, Toronto Argonauts, Previous Ranking #WR36

3 GP, 8 Receptions, 134 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Brissett was the most targetted receiver for Toronto in week 3’s win over Edmonton. In week 4 Brissett was the 5th most targetted receiver for Toronto and 2nd in receiving yards as he caught 3 of his 4 targets for 54 yards.

34. Terry Godwin, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Previous Ranking #WR32

3 GP, 12 Receptions, 98 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Forbes-Mombleau was targeted 5 times and caught 4 passes for 29 yards.

40. David Ungerer III, Toronto Argonauts, Previous Ranking #WR28

2 GP, 5 Receptions, 89 Yards, and 1 touchdown.

Ungerer played as a second-stringer with the return of Kurleigh Gittens Jr. to the lineup in week 4. He caught both of his targets for 14 yards.

41. Cole Spieker, Montreal Alouettes, Previous Ranking #WR34

3 GP, 3 Receptions, 41 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Spieker caught his only target for 5 yards. Out of the 22 passes to wide receivers by Fajardo, only 5 of those targeted a player not named Austin Mack or Kaion Julien-Grant. As long as this is continuing there will not be much production out of the other Montreal receivers and defenses may adjust to exploit these tendencies.

43. Hergy Mayala, Montreal Alouettes, Previous Ranking #WR35

2 GP, 3 Receptions, 30 Yards, and 0 touchdowns.

Mayala was targetted twice but did not record a reception in the loss to Winnipeg. Mayala and Spieker are both talented receivers but only 2 receivers are consistently getting targets in Montreal.
