Montreal Alouettes Sign American DT Dylan Wynn

The Montreal Alouettes signed American defensive tackle Dylan Wynn on Wednesday.

DT Dylan Wynn – Oregon State (30 y/o, 6’2, 290 lbs)

Dylan Wynn entered the CFL in 2017 with the Toronto Argonauts where he won a Grey Cup. He played for the Argos in 2017 and 2018. 

He played for Arizona in the Alliance of American Football in 2019 where he played in 5 games contributing 5 solo tackles and 2 assisted tackles.

Wynn joined the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2019 and played in the last 4 seasons with them. He has played in 75 CFL regular season games contributing 174 tackles and 28 sacks. He was a CFL All-Star in 2019 and was named an East Division All-Star in 2017, 2019, and 2021.

“Dylan is a veteran in this league and one of the best at his position,” stated Alouettes General Manager Danny Maciocia. “He knows how to win, and we are adding a player who will fit perfectly into our culture.”

Wynn played for Oregon State from 2011 to 2014 appearing in 50 games. He generated 100 solo tackles, 114 assisted tackles, 24.5 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks, 3 passes defended, 3 forced fumbles, 8 fumble recoveries, and an interception with the program. He was Second Team All-Pac-12 in 2014.
